Nigel Stephens joins Board of Directors - [General News]

Waldon's Board are pleased to announce the addition of Nigel Stephens to the Board

Nigel Stephens joined Waldon in 1998 tasked with setting up an in-house Fire & Security department.  His background is in the security industry having been a fire and security installation and service engineer for a Nationwide firm and subsequently a salesman for the same firm.  He has been very successful in setting up and growing the Security department, which has now reached a level where it provides around 20% of the company's turnover.

"We are all extremely pleased with the way Nigel accepted and conquered the challenge of creating and growing the Security Department and felt that this deserved formal recognition" says Martyn Waller, Joint Managing Director.  "Whilst Nigel will remain responsible for managing the Security Department, his appointment to the Board will mean he has involvement in the whole company, which will bring additional skills and even better integration of the two departments"
