Waldon & T Clarke Plc

From Waldon's origins when it consisted of just Trevor Waller & Keith Donnithorne in 1976, the company steadily grew into one of the largest, independently-owned electrical contracting companies in the South West carrying out works ranging from a few tens of pounds to contracts of in excess of £1million.

The success of the company did not go unnoticed, and in 2005 Trevor & Keith were approached by T Clarke Plc (the long-standing London based electrical contracting firm with a turnover of £190million) with an offer to buy Waldon.  On 4th May 2005, the sale was completed and Waldon became a wholly owned subsidiary of T Clarke and a proud member of the group.

With T Clarke's ethos of "if it isn't broken then don't fix it", the day to day running and management of the company remains the same, with the same faces running the business.  This means that our customers are still serviced in the same way by the people they are used to dealing with and Waldon maintain the feel of a local, family firm that they cherish.

On the other hand, with T Clarke's backing and the support that it brings both financailly and in areas such as Health & Safety, for example, Waldon now has the resources to expand further and become an even bigger player in the South West.
