The Brief:

To carry out the full design, installation and commission of the electrical services to 6 luxury homes.  Services provided included:

  • Complete power & lighting installation
  • Dimming controls and feature lighting
  • Centralised, multi-source, distributed audio system
  • Distributed TV & satellite system
  • Home cinema surround sound system
  • Video & audio access control
  • Structured cabled data/telephone network
  • Monitored Intruder Alarm
  • Colour CCTV with digital recording and remote access

Summary of the project:

The client's requirement for this development in the exclusive Cornish holiday resort of Rock was for the construction of 6 exclusive luxury homes highly serviced with the latest in lighting, audio and video facilities.

Working with the Main Contractor, Midas Construction Ltd, the design process required close liaison with the client and design team to ensure the client's requirements were correctly interpreted and the execution of the work needed to be of the highest standard.
